  • IT'S ALIVE! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Valve is <img src="smileys/smiley35.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> amazing, right?

Is the only company that I always think is really really good :) And it continues being it.

Ofcourse, Greenlight is a GREAT solution for all the Indie Game Developers, like us.

Amazon is a really really good company, too.

    And Arima, that looks great!

  • Try Construct 3

I've had a few problems with steam in the past, mostly due to the fact that you don't really OWN anything you buy from valve... still, as DRM goes, they're a lot better than EA or Ubisoft - at least they see that piracy is a distribution problem, and that your DRM platform must provide added value if you expect consumers to put up with it.

As for Amazon, they're really good - I've never had a single bad experience with it. Kudos to them!

Also, regarding greenlight, forming a lobby to push construct games in there isn't a bad idea at all! I'd really like to see some organized effort by the community to do this. We game devs have to stick together.

  • I've been working on a game since 2009 using Construct Classic, and last month I decided to start from scratch, but now everything's going smoothly. I decided to put it on Greenlight, since no one has to pay for anything, and it's good publicity. I'm making it with C2, this time. There's still a long way to go, but in the terms they said it would be OK to put prototypes and unfinished games on it, so..

    Here it is:

  • Cool to see a Construct game up on Steam Greenlight. Good luck with it, andreyin, I've up voted it for you <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">

None of my Construct 2 games are ready enough yet, but I do have a non-Construct game on there - Dawn of Fantasy - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92931949

  • OddConfection

Thanks! And WOW. What did you use to make that? Unity? It's pretty impressive! I voted for it.

Also, it's not spamming since the thrad is about Steam Greenlight and what games we put up in there, I guess. I don't even think this should be on the Construct 2 part of the forum.

  • I just made a steam greenlight page as well. Great to see another construct 2 game up there!

  • I Wanna Be the Guy was already put up by other people twice. How.... silly.

But the whole Greenlight thing is cool. Hopefully I'll be getting a C1 game up on there eventually.

  • TowerClimb's there.

  • I hate the notion of downvotes, as that may kill off niche titles.

How do you know about the downvotes? i don't see...

  • I don't think voters can see the downvotes a game gets so it doesn't sway other voter's opinions.

  • Thanks! And WOW. What did you use to make that? Unity? It's pretty impressive! I voted for it.

Thanks for the vote. The engine was custom built by one of our programmers, I mostly did Lua coding for quests and gameplay.

Voted for Super Ubi Land and TowerClimb

Keep posting your games so I can vote for them <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
