Hi. I don't know if this is the right forum for this (it's probably not a bug) but I'm trying this out and made a basic game with the tutorial: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/349494/c2project0/index.html
In the editor it plays at one speed. In firefox it's much slower (I assume that's firefox because every game i've played in the arcade drags in ff.) But in Chrome the game is so fast it's almost unplayable... like several times the speed it is in the editor. So how do I get a consistent speed between browsers?
Here's the .capx file in case it's something I messed up which it might be. I've only been playing with it a couple of days.
Ive tested it on chrome and ff and seemed to work fine (at least, almost same speed, if not the same). My question is just sbout controls and logic... wouldn't be easier just W/S maybe? Follow/Repel towards mouse pointer? Also, why u need to increase speed?
Make sure you are using the dt expression in your code!
I don't need to increase speed, for me at least I'm getting like 10-15 fps in everything except Chrome and 60fps in Chrome, and in Chrome, I can't play it.
As far as the other thing goes, A and D let you circle/strafe but i'm still not sure I want to go with that if I can't come up with a way to use them.
