  • Hi all,

    I downloaded the trial version of Construct 2 to make a first draft, but I can not get sound when I export to publish it on the server.

    I hearing sounds before exporting but then it does not work online: I also tested exporting the model provides with the trial version and its not as works once online.

    The problem could come from export ?

    Thank you for your help.

    PS: I searched on forum to find a solution but I found nothing. <img src="smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Thank you for your reply: I've read the thread about the sound problems.

    I removed java and installed java 64-bit again on my computer to export the model comes with construct 2 (Space Blaster) : sound works on Firefox and IE (does not work on Chrome) locally.

    When I put the files on the server, making sure that the MIME types are sent, I have no sound at all.

    Or i'm sure I OGG M4A and online ... <img src="smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • What browsers are you testing this on?

    Are there any errors showing in the browser error console?

    Can you provide a link to the externally hosted files so we can see for ourselves?

  • Actualy i'm testing locally on : Firefox/IE/Chrome

    -> All give me sound locally except Chrome wich displays a black screen ... <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Last Message : I did not understand how to handle the problem of MIME type match and I found how to set our server to make it work.

    Ultimately provides the first link was good but I did not realize it involved a particular setting of the server (with Plesk).

    Everything is ok and I think we will take a full license very quickly.

    Thank you again for your help !!
