  • hi, i am a newbie here. I have a question to ask. I am currently doing a test where my enemy has to simulate a jump over a block but problem is that i did simulate a jump but the distance is not cleared as it has to be a longer jump.

How can i get a long horizontal jump??

  • I believe if you click on the object that you want to make jump you can change its platform properties (which by the sound of it you've already added the platform behavior to the object) in the sidebar where you can change the jump strength.

EDIT: Also, in the future you may want to post these kinds of topics in the "How do I..." board to get better help. Good luck!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • To get a longer jump, you will need to simulate the direction you want your object to go; either by simulate pressing right, or left.

You may need to tweak the acceleration and top speed attributes as well to get the desired result.

There are other methods, but that should work.

btw, this should really be in the "How do I..." section. You may have better luck having your questions answered there.

  • sorry i did not know about this i m new in here so.... thank you
