Hey guys I'm just trying to figure out how to fix this problem / if theres a better way to get nice 2d lighting within construct 2. I'm tired of hand drawing lighting for my games and I really wanna get the shadow caster and light functions of construct 2 to work.
So so far lets say I have this layout right here:
So I have the lighting in the middle where I want the light and I want those two platforms above and below it to cast a solid shadow over and under where they are.
HERES WHAT I GET
Whats happening here? Its a tilemap with the shadow caster behavior and I want the blocks to be a solid shadow but theyre casting individual shadows? what? I cant figure out the problem and need help via something that possibly fixes or another alternative to the shadow casting in this engine.
