I was working on my game with the new r120 beta but it is buggy with Audio importing so I went back to the most recent stable release but now I can't open my game because it has been opened by a newer version of construct!
Edit: It is not using any new behaviours from the new release.
What can I do?
Well, you messed up... you have to recreate game from stratch again
Don't use r120, use r119
Sometimes beta versions can be buggy
So I guess I just have to wait until the next release to work on Audio...
Ashley can we get an ETA of the next beta which hopefully fixes the issue?
You can try manually rolling the version number back. You can edit the <saved-with-version> tag in the .caproj file. It should say 12000. Change it to 11900.
If you have a .capx file, you need to change the extension to .zip and unzip it first.
Keep a copy of your current file, in case this doesn't work, and you can just wait for the next version. There is no guarantee that this will work, but if you haven't use the new behaviours, as you said, then you have a good chance.
I've used this trick before, although I can't confirm 120, as I didn't install yet.
Dammit - blackhornet just posted before me!
Change the line <saved-with-version>11900</saved-with-version> in the .caproj file and it should open fine.

I love you guys! Worked perfectly.
Use SaveAs every time you time you want to save so you never overwrite.
Here's a tutorial for anyone else: How to revert your project to an earlier version of Construct 2
considering whacky state of import, it'd still be nice to get an ETA. It fixed one bug I was having where turning off silent would bring up muted sounds, but this sounds even worse!
This is why you should always back up your projects before installing a beta!
