  • Hello,

I have one simple question. May I create some game for an android device using Construct 2 (Personal Edition) and then publish (sell) it on android markets like Google Play for some money? With this version I know I cant make more then 5000 USD...

  • You answered on your own question. If you can't make with C2 personal edition more than 5000$, you can create averything with C2 for android, and apple, and tizen... and make less than 5000$.

    That's all.

  • C2 for android, apple and tizen? Are you talking about different C2 version than C2 personal edition ? I thought that when I want sell publish my games for some money I have to get C2 personal ed.

  • or I have a better question <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> how are "they" gonna check whether I made more than 5000 USD ?

What if I publish a game with C2 Personal Edition >> people will like it >> and sudenlly I will make 6000 USD for example.. or is there some limit or something ?

  • If you reach 5000$ then you have to buy Business license

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

There is a table with differences between the editions: scirra.com/store/construct-2

They cannot check anyway if you've made over 5000USD, it's up to you to keep tab of that and purchase the business license when you've gone over the limit.

  • They cannot check, unless something smells fishy and you are clearly going over $5000.

Also, it is likely that in the terms and conditions *cough I so read them* there is a paragraph about agreeing to said contract.

You may also publish to all the advertised marketplaces with the personal edition.
