I'm tinkering around with Layer Effects and thought it would be a nice feature if it was possible to bypass effects via a small checkmark within the layer properties window. Because that way, effect settings are not lost.
Rco250jmx in your event sheet you can use 'set layer effect'. Choose the effect and choose to enable or disable it.

Thanks for your answer but that's quite cumbersome. Checkmarks in the properties bar would be nicer imho!
