Any network savvys there to help me?

I was and am unable to run the game in HTML preview mode. I get an error of "HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable."

I have really no idea about those stuff, so hopefully some of you may have.

Chances are the Construct 2 HTTP server is being blocked by firewall or something. You may want to check your firewall settings.

Just guesswork here, though.

Actually the reason I want this is so that I can connect from my iPad to my localhost and playtest from within the device. Is that even possible? Sounds reasonable.

I don't know if the Construct 2 web server's configuration allow foreign connections. You COULD however build your own local server and host your C2 creations, and then test them with whatever compatible device.

Certainly that's true, but would require publishing each time. Well actually thats so quick as previewing <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> so...yeah I might as well do that. Thanks

Try this out it was reported not long ago and allowed the user to use http preview mode again.

Thanks for this. I've allready looked that before and uncommemnted those lines, but it doesn't seem like a good idea to comment out the other lines as they are used by my other software.. :-/
