When you first buy construct, it download a file that you input into the free edition you have. Is it possible to use the same file for multiple computers? Will this mess things up?
No,
it's allowed to use this one license on more then one computer (as long as only one person uses it)
Like I use it on my desktop and laptop - nothing gets messed up
fm4fanAT What if I have it on say 10 computers? I'm trying to see if I can share with my siblings...
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
That's the part that is not allowed
For the personal license, you'll have to be the one who uses the software. If you have 10 computers, and you are going to develop on every single one, then you can use your license file. But sharing with others is not allowed.
that "sharing" thing is the shittiest thing ever created (in SD i mean, not Scirra) - i mean if you have a PC and 2 siblings ofc they're all going to buy 1 licence not 3.
it's different if you're a company and you have 5 workers who need each their own license.
