I am wondering if most of the people using Construct 2 are in the UK or the USA? Just wondering cause I always get tripped up by the timestamp on all the posts being in UK timezone. I am on the West Coast of the USA. Just was wondering, random question.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Tagging Ashley and Tom as they would probably know.
I'm used to being in most people's future (south east coast Australia). Would be fun to see the distribution though.
Im from california, but ive seen users from all over. Ive seen Russia, Korea, Canada, Australia, UK,USAm China pretty much everywhere here on the forums, twitter and such
USA would have the highest of any individual country, at around 15%. Of course, Europe in total would be close to 3 times this.
Most people I get contacted are from germany, I'm in Germany as well, so Germany seems to me be the winner
I'm from Sweden and I've seen a few other swedes here as well
Germany here, working with Australia and the US.
C2 is international as hell!
South Africa here, so we share a timezone with Germany, France and Italy. Just, you know, waaaaay down south
According to our website traffic our top visiting countries are the US, UK, Brazil and Russia. Lots more countries have a strong showing but those are the top 4. I'm surprised we get so many visitors from Brazil and Russia since they're non-English speaking! I guess those countries have great language education
BTW you can change your time zone in the user control panel.
I'm certainly can't say with authority. But at my work place we had a Brazilian working as an intern. And from his point of view that I gathered. There is a growing number of youth wanting to grow the Brazillian video game development presence. So can see Brazil due to C2 ease of use and making the English language coding simpler with C2 VPL Event Sheet.
South Africa here
I'm amazed by how much talented devs I'm meeting coming from South Africa lately. "Desktop Dungeon" and "Broforce" are only some examples.
(also, I'm based in France, but you've already guessed that, thanks to my still in beta English).

Thanks! Yes, we're definitely seeing a lot of growth here. And don't forget about Stasis (my personal favourite SA-based game at the moment), and Toxic Bunny. We're getting there
Am from sweden, nice to see that there are a few more swedes
Cool to see all the different regions, had no idea it was so diverse.
Aurel love the game you're working on man. I show others your devlog as an example of what Construct 2 can do. I had switched over to using Unreal 4 but came back to Construct 2 because of the quality of your game and some others I had seen. Keep it up.
