I tried r178 and I get a kernel32.dll crash on start on my laptop (windows 7, 64 bits). In fact, the last revision which works is r168, what happened since that version?
I need change my computer or just download this dll (but where must I put it) ?
You can try to download it from and add it to your windows/system32 folder. But it's risky, check the file with anti-virus. This dll library is a part of windows, that's why another way to fix this dll error is reinstalling Windows.
I wouldn't download that dll. It's core to the windows operating system, if it's crashing then something is very wrong with your system. Have you tried upgrading your graphics card driver?

This thread is quite old. I reckon Dastin posted without even checking.
Ah. I forgot to read the initial posting time.
