A pack of 76 platform designs for a platformer game with a mushroom/jungle theme
  • Outsource the development of a Mac version.

You will have 80% of the serious potential commercial clients /development teams/companies.

Apple is one of the leading design platforms for modern media.

Not having a Mac version of a software package like this is like demanding a small wallet.

funny, I dont even like apple

  • C2 available on multiple platforms would mean more possible buyers but also slower C2 development and platform specific bugs or incompatibilities .

I would prefer to see first Real-time online multiplayer, some sort of default Ads implementation and to be less dependent on 3rd parties for exporting of Android, iOS ... etc.

Don't want to be rude but is really that hard to make a 60GB partition and install Windows7/8 on it ? Most applications that are available on Mac are also available on Windows <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Thats why I say outsource.

If they outsource their latest stable, when the tile editor is deemed ready, ;) then outsource that 1 version to a company who has had experience in these kinds of projects.

It will be done correctly in one go and they can aim to support that one version till a better solution may be provided.

Having it outsourced by experienced mac os developers will reward itself greatly in costly time ... which I see scirra development team has their hands full with already.

Others might see Construct 2 as a more potential development platform for Ios related material then for example ios's xcode ;) (ever tried that hehe)

lots of potential, seriously worth it

Hard, not really, expensive.. yes I guess

  • There is ONE RULE TO RULE THEM ALL.

    CONVENIENCE IS KING

The OP is right. It seems today that there a very large number of developers that have switched to using MAC. Even many Windows games are coded on MAC, but compiled on a Windows machine. Had a few job interviews and indie game companies and MACs where the number one computer I ever see.

getting an entire office to dual boot is not convenient and so that doesn't fly. A 1 man developer that's fine. For an IT department at any game studio that's just not going to happen.

So it's good to hear that this will come some day.
