This is the new version of Basketball Practice with animated Character made with C3 Version.
  • I know you're here to make money but really disappointed we can't use more than 2 effects. Up to now I've not felt restricted with the free version but I feel it now. Suppose I'll have to buy the full version. I ain't got the money but I've got game ideas coming out my ar*# so I need it!

    Well played lads, well played. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I'm afraid we simply can't give away all the features in the free edition, otherwise everyone will just use the free edition all the time and not buy anything and we'd go out of business!

The free edition previously had no shader support at all, so it's still a new addition for free users. It's not like something you already had has been taken away.

  • vandinz, use what you're given and let your awesome ideas come out of that. Some of the best games in the world never had need for all the super effects.

If you really can't afford it, then maybe you can learn to code in HTML5 by hand. That's what I was doing before I started working with C2. It might give you a better appreciation on how much time you save.

    Good luck.

  • I totally understand Ashley I'm just thinking out loud really. It has meant I'm now saving for the full version, which I had always planned on doing but not so soon. Appreciate being able to do what I can with the free version, it's come to a point where my ideas have outgrown it now though so its time to take the plunge!

  • vandinz: Stay on the lookout, there are often contests on scirra.com and other website which prices contain licenses for C2.

Be sure to check "Official Scirra Blog" in your "Edit your profile" page, there should be some news in the coming weeks/months.

  • If you deserve it, and people can see it, its not hard to get the money to buy a simple, affordable software like this. I've seen so many members, including myself, who have had their licenses sponsored or come to them through the engine or community itself.
