No difference between standard & brute!

Hi all

I've tried both standard and brute PNG recompression when exporting and no difference at all in the final result.

Is this normal?

Varies. Sometimes there is a big difference, sometimes none. If graphics are simple (your sig for eg), you probably won't gain anything with brute.

FYI, 8bit is a good bit smaller than 24bit. C2 can do that, but I like this tool better:

Brute mode could save anywhere from 0-5% on the file size, and takes several times longer to process, so generally it's not worth it.

Now i need to delete some of the audio files to make the final result under 10 mb, so i can upload it to Kongregate.

You know what, if you want to, you can send me your sound files, and I can compress them in such a way, that they will still sound good, but take much less memory.

Are you going to upload the compressed files we send back directly to dropbox or put them into Construct 2? Because Construct 2 has 3 different quality settings for audio when importing.
