I just downloaded Construct on my system and it seemed to install without a hitch but it will not run for me. I get the following error:
"A debugger has been found in your system. Construct does not run inside a debugger. Please close debugger and try again".
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Is there any software running on your system that could count as a debugger? Does temporarily disabling your antivirus fix it?
I've tried almost everything. I tried turning off window 7 debugger,
took off firewall, ran ccleaner and spybot, looked through Microsoft Support did countless Google searches, made changes to my system configurations, all to no avail. I am at my wits end. Don't know what else I can do.
I would appreciate any help from the community
maybe try creating a new user on the computer, and reinstall Construct as the new user.
I tried that Potato and it did not work :(
thanks for the suggestion though.

Which version of Windows are you using and is it up to date (latest service pack + Windows updates)? Have you scanned your computer for viruses/malware as well?
Any idea what application is giving you the message? On the face of it, it looks like the sort of message an A-V application (or even a fake A-V application) would give. What A-V software do you have installed? Does it make logfiles that you could search?
