I have a question as I am considering making an investment into a personal license. I have no game development background but Construct 2 may be what I am looking for. I looked into UE4, Buildbox, and Gdevelop and did some research. My question is: It says updates for life for Construct 2 but does that include if a Construct 3 comes out?

You get all updates for Construct 2 for free, however when Construct 3 comes out, you'll have to buy that again. Since we don't know any date about C3, and it's probably still a long way off, I'd suggest don't wait for it.

Before you buy Construct 2, do some testing with the free version and see if the workflow suits you.
