How do i get my construct 2

Ok so i just paid for a personal licence approx £60 but for the life of me i cant find where to download it

I think you should get the redeem code and input it somewhere in the shop. There are redeem options there.

The asset download link is available from within C2 when you click the 'About' icon. You should see a highlighted link called 'Download media bundle'.

Have you had the email with your redeem code (check spam folder just in case) ? You have the badge so the system has recognised you own a license.

If yes, go to the Store and select 'Redeem a code' to get your license.

C2 itself can just be downloaded from the footer of the forum or from the Releases section.

If you haven't got the redeem code, email and ask them to help you.

thank you so much for your reply mean a lot, i ave got the email with the code i redeem it i got all the asset an licence but when i download construct its the free version so i dont uderstand

so i can just download the free version an it will work as the paid version ?

If you haven't installed the license yet, and for anyone else looking for similar answers, you need to follow the manual section for installing license here: https://www.scirra.com/manual/14/using-a-license.

The important part is the following:

Once you have redeemed your purchase from the Scirra Store, you can download your Construct 2 license, which is a file called c2license.txt.

You simply need to copy this file in to either the install directory or My Documents. Restart Construct 2 and it should launch as the licensed version: the purchaser name should appear on the start page and About dialog, Free edition should disappear from the title bar, and the free edition limits should be removed.

Alternatively, you can place your license file wherever you like and locate it by clicking Load license file in the About dialog.
