Minimalist Crash Balls is a game where the goal is to hit the ball on the portal, with 20 different levels :)
  • Hi guys,

    When I was working on my game, C2 crashed on me when trying to paste some objects in the layout. Next thing I know, my .capx was gone, with a only .tmp remaining. Fortunately, I was able to save my capx by removing the tmp extension.

    Now however, when I try to save my game, it always crashes on me. I never get any error code.

  • It appears that the crash occurs when trying to save the file.

  • Hey, I tried opening your .capx, changing some things, and clicking save.  It seemed to work fine several times.  Are you using the latest release?<div>

    </div><div>I need to be able to reproduce the crash to fix it so can you tell me exactly what you were doing?  e.g.:</div><div>- what you were copying and pasting, and where</div><div>- what you change before clicking save that makes it crash for you.</div><div>

    </div><div>Thanks!</div>

  • Errors are happening in r46.

    After some effort I was able to get some error messages:

    <img src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/3/4/1796632//error2.JPG" border="0" />

    <img src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/3/4/1796632//error.JPG" border="0" />

    Typically, I copy/paste some sprites in the layout and attempt to save. 75% of the time while trying to save, C2 crashes. If I press ctrl+s, sometimes it closes without an error message. This is when the bug began to happen. I was just pasting some of the mushroom sprites and rotating/scaling them in the layout.

  • Hmm... that looks to me like it might actually be a driver issue. Could you try updating your graphics drivers if you haven't already? Also, let me know the graphics card details in the about screen.

  • I updated by driver and still am having problems. C2 crashes still when I try to save 90% of the time and even crashes when running the layout. I got a new error message:

    <img src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/3/4/1796632//error3.JPG" border="0" />

  • If you click 'Ignore' or 'Retry', does it work? Sometimes those messages are ignorable.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Yes, it works if i try those options. It is very rare I see a message as such, normally it just crashes on me.
