New 270 release released, but I can't update on Steam.

Already uninstalled and reinstalled twice and continues with version 269.

Why doesn't the update work on Steam?

Make sure you're on the beta branch.
1. Right click on C2 in software library
2. Properties
3. "Betas" tab and select beta updates
