Today I bought Construct 2 and excitedly exported to CacoonJS only to find it seems to lose a lot of quality and becomes quite blurry, sure great FPS but blurry.
Is this great FPS achieved at the cost of graphics? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.
Try setting 'Sampling' to 'Point' in project properties.
Just tried that and no difference unfortunately.
I had issues with fonts which were small and blurred too. You may do a search to find the relative threads on this board.
BTW, it's "CocoonJS", not "CacoonJS"! <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Another issue is that cocoonjs doesn't yet support retina mode on iOS devices, if that is in fact what you're running. They've announced it's coming in an update though.
I have Retina turned off and when testing on an iPad 3 it is not half as blurry as when I run it through Cocoon
Can you post a screenshot of what you see and your .capx?
In CocoonJS imgur.com/qDY1Q
In iPad Safari imgur.com/2dX2M
Both versions are made with the same project with the same settings in Construct 2.
I'd rather not post my .capx as I wouldn't want to just upload my game for anyone to see <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
Thanks for trying to help me out!
