I'm new to the forums but have kept an eye on Construct for quite a while and am totally impressed with Construct 2, as I've come over from GameMaker, Flex/Flash and other platforms myself.
Anyway, I was trying to get a good bounce behavior from a ball but can't seem to find a way to do nested conditionals in order to achieve that.
Anyone know a way to do that in Construct 2?
Thanks in advance!
Whoops, stupid of me, Figured it out! Instead of using the Is outside layout event I just used the Compare x and Compare y events and manually adjusted the angle!
As an example to help others seeking a simple method for bouncing a ball of the edge of the screen, I've included the prototype to an upcoming simple game as follows:
Basically, just avoid the other balls (which split into others, ultimately filling up the screen) and survive as long as you can. :)
I'll have to learn how this forum works, as the link didn't get posted!

And better yet, the actual linked link!
Haha, fun game! :) And thanks for the capx!
Yes, thanks for the capx. I've been going over some of the functions for C2 and there doesn't seem to be the basic "bounce" function. No box2D either?
