Awesomium 1.7 RC3 finished!

Just wanted to let you guys know that Awesomium 1.7 RC3 is finished and the team is just preparing the documentation now.

So very soon we will have a much faster exe exporter with direct to window rendering! Yay! I'm so psyched about this!

Can't way to try this - because I know Ashley will include this in one of his next updates. Let's hope RC3 is all we hoped for.

Ooh, interesting. Thanks for sharing, I'm guessing a beta release is right around the corner as well.

No sign of a RC3 release from Awesomum yet...

r104 should be going out today - I think even if they release RC3 today it won't be in C2 until r105.

r105 would be fantastic :)

Ashley - would it be possible to make the Awesomium exporter for mac too in the future?

lokesen - yep - but Awesomium haven't made a Mac release yet in the 1.7 branch.

Awesomium is so awesome, .exe apps still useful although windows 8 apps is coming soon :)

Why don't you guys just use CEF3 instead of Awesomium? It's open source, It's got direct to window rendering, etc.

Maybe you didn't know of its existence. In that case, you are welcome ;)
