I tested the code you sent me, i'm editing on shadertoy but can't get nothing that i like at the moment, i know is a wip but maybe can improve in some way.

Also i replied to your PM with lot of examples of shaders with glow i found on other site that also i'm trying to edit to see if can be useful to the glow effect for sprites.

Is this effect so resource intensive because it's trying to do a sort of gaussian blur?

i get 4 fps in chrome top... its good as visual effect but kills performance atleast for me.
