(SOLVED) EXPORT TO MACOSX DON'T WORK!!!

  • Problem Description

    Created an app for desktops, pc/mac, with just sprites, and a turning wheel with numbers, saved exported with nw.js for desktops but nothing works

    ABSOLUTLY NOTHING WORK!!

    i spent 3 weeks on it.

    The created app for pc WORK, created app for mac NO

    so i followed the tutorial about how to export to mac, THAT SOLUTION IS NOT WORKING.

    i created a shared folder from my pc

    from the network at my office i copy the shared folder with the macosx, result don't work

    zipped the folder and exported with a usb key to macosx, don't work.

    zipped folder on pc, trough network i copy the folder with macosx, don't work.

    RESULT:

    ALLWAYS THE SAME RESULT

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    try to export with nw.js

    Observed Result

    Macosx give me an error message, of a "corrupted app or incomplete"

    Expected Result

    Three weeks spent on this problem without any solution.

    STILL same problem

    compiled APP don't work.

    TESTED at the office on 3 differents macos

    macos x 10.9.5

    macos mavericks 10.9.5

    macos yosemite

    so i repeat,

    it's STILL the SAME problem (see pictures and info above)

  • This was a problem with the build of the NW.js for Construct 2 package, and it should now be corrected. The 0.12.0 installer from https://www.scirra.com/nwjs now dated 9th March should work correctly, so try downloading it again and reinstalling and it should work. Note I only updated it just before this post, so at the time of your previous reply you would not have got this updated version yet. Let me know if it works.

    With the last Update of construct 2 R199 + nw.js

    EVERYTHING work now under macosx, leopard, mavericks
