Seems touch controls in Chrome are not working on my pc.
newt: I can't confirm this for Chrome 19.0.1084.9 dev-m -
everything works fine - works only not if I open the local export with Chrome (Firefox 11.0 opens it locally without problems)
Just updated to 18.0.1025.151 m.
Still no go.
Guess this is fixed in the dev version?
Seems to work fine in Chrome 18 here, but only by mouse input... I don't have a touch PC to test on!
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Yeah mouse works fine.
It will register a touch, but dragging, or is touching, is pretty much borked.
Even tried it on a few games, where touch worked previously, in the Chrome store.
No go there as well.
Chrome just updated to 18.0.1025.162 m
According to this:
...Chrome for desktop simply does not support touch events. I presume this is because there are relatively few touch-enabled desktops out there. Maybe star the issue or nudge them to get back on it.
Well with Windows Metro coming soon......
Perhaps that will generate more interest. The two are somewhat similar in experience, what with Chrome being able to run apps from the desktop.
Thanks for looking into it.
Looks like ts finally implemented.
