    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Run in C2 node-webkit preview.Drag and drop folder filled with .PNG files on the window. It should start the animation playing.

    2. Compile with the Node-webkit exporter.

    3. Run, drag and drop folder... it will open a webpage with the URL's to the files rather than running my program, and playing the animation.

    Observed result:

Seems that loading folders is different in preview mode Vs. compiled node-webkit version.

    Expected result:

Run my program, not serve me URL's of the folder.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: NodeWebkit

    Firefox:

    Internet Explorer:

    Operating system & service pack:

win 7, most current service pack

    Construct 2 version:

        r143

  • I tried it out here and I can't even drop the folder in the window (on Node-Webkit preview).

    I recorded a proof video.

First I load from the preview, next I load from compiled version.

  • Can't reproduce on Windows 8. Works the same after export as it does in preview. Maybe this is specific to Windows 7? Could you try to find a Windows 8 machine to test on?

Wouldn't it make more sense for you to test on Windows 7? There are far more Win7/XP machines than Win8.

How can they claim windows 7 compatibility, if they do not test on a windows 7 box? I wonder if Valve knows about this?
