Error when changing function of global variable

Hi guys,

i have a global variable and i am trying to check if it is >= 10, each time i do this (or any other function) i get the below error message. anyone know why?

There is already a topic going on this. looks like it is effecting a lot of people, including me, global and instance variables.

I reckon it may have something to do with the commenting next to the variable, seems like something broke when that was implemented.
