Multiplayer works fine only if both host and peer have the same type of connection, but if the host is a desktop browser with a "desktop connection" (wifi router, cable) and the peer is a mobile browser with "mobile connection" (3G, 4G) the multiplayer does not work.

- Run the host on desktop and the peer on mobile, or host on mobile and peer on desktop.

Nothing happens, the peer and host does not see each other.
