Steps to reproduce:

1. Installed rex.rainbow function plugin (don't know if relevant)

2. Saved project on release version r139

3. Updated to r140 beta

4. Open project file

Observed result:

Crash on project launch (Note: Does not crash on r139)

Expected result:

Project file does not crash on launch

Browsers affected:

Chrome: n/a

Firefox: n/a

Internet Explorer: n/a

Operating system & service pack:

Win 7 32-bit SP 1

Construct 2 version:

r140

Your capx is actually a caproj. (a project with all the files saved separately.

Could that be the problem? you saved as a project by mistake, and then moved the caproj file not realizing the project files and folders were there too?

Hmm not sure. Looking back, apparently I've always ran .caproj files

Closing, please provide a .capx file (a .caproj is not a complete project). It should also not contain any third party plugins, and should be a minimal project made from scratch demonstrating the issue with as few events and objects as possible, as per the guidelines.
