Character Sprite Pack: Walk 4 Directions made in illustrator
  • Problem Description

Hi all, when I was testing my recent project, I encountered something terrible .

    Attach a Capx

At the end of this post.

    Description of Capx

Tests the super-speed power-up for my game, The Nightmare Of Horror.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1: Pick up the super-speed power-up.
    • Step 2: Click with the right mouse button.
    • Step 3: Move around.

    Observed Result

The player doesn't move faster (real game only).

    Expected Result

The player must move faster when he uses the power-up (real game only).

    Affected Browsers

      Chrome FireFox Internet Explorer

    Operating System and Service Pack

Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1

    Construct 2 Version ID

    Construct 2 Release 169 (32-bit)

EDIT: Added a video of how it looks like here.

  • Tried it in FireFox 29.1, and Chrome 34, both work as expected. Even on export.

Not sure what your issue is here.

  • I tried it and it works perfectly.

  • I tried it and it works perfectly.

    But for me, it's not

Also, if you play the real game, you will always get hurt in the last room (before boss) in the 3rd area.

Not sure what your issue is here.

I will make a video of it soon

  • Kyatric I added a link to the video in the first post !

  • I even fail to see the error in the video, to be honest. From the explanation you're giving, this is not a bug caused by C2, but by how you made stuff work.

I'm not home atm, but I'll check your capx tonight if it's not fixed by then.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I finally fixed it now with the "Set Object Timescale" events !

  • Closing as no evidence of a bug.

  • Ashley I don't know what's supposed to be but that didn't happen in previous version. It was not the 8-Direction behavior but is how much stuff I made. That should be fixed in the next version.
