When using the mouse to simulate touch, touch.touchID is always 0. There is no warning about this in the documentation.

The problem is present in Construct 3 also but touch.touchID is always 1

Touch ID is the identification of a touch on the screen.

Since a mouse doesn't support multi-touch, there won't be multiple touches.

If two fingers were on a touchscreen, Touch ID 0 will be the one that touched first and Touch ID 1 will be the other one.

In the guide it says 'unique' number. I took that to mean unique across the whole run of the game, not as it actually is, unique at any one moment.
