Need a infinitely scrolling background in all directions

Hi

I am building a top down space shooter (a variation on the ghost shooter tutorial) but i would like the background to scroll infinitely so it appears my ship can fly as far as it wants and the aliens still spawn around it.

Any Idea how this can be done ??

PS. I'm a total Beginner go gentle on me please

For the infinite background portion you can just move a tiledbg that's a bit bigger than the screen so you always see it.
