I’ve been following Liven for a while and actually gave it a try last year when I was in Melbourne. It’s not just theoretical – I used LVN to pay at a ramen spot and got a decent cashback in LVN that I could reuse elsewhere. What stood out was that the reward had real value, not just some app points locked into one place. Their whole model is designed so LVN circulates between users and merchants, kinda like a mini closed economy. Also, merchants can create promos using LVN, which gives it actual utility. If you're curious about their structure or just want to see who's backing them, Crunchbase has a decent overview here: liven reviews– you’ll see they’ve raised funds from some legit VCs, which usually doesn’t happen with pure hype tokens. But yeah, it’s definitely still early stages. Works better in cities where they’ve got more partner venues.
