  • Hi,

I can't seem to use the plugin properly. It seems to me that the "go to path" action doesn't work while everything else is fine. If I put this action somewhere in the code, the preview doesn't run and the following error appears in the console.

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'bind')

I used skymen updated plugin (1.0.0.1).

You can temporarily find here a minimal project that encounters the error.

On a side note, I noticed that the latest version of Inky (v.20) is not compatible with the current plugin (v.19). I was able to work around this problem by downloading Inky v.19. I think that by editing with v.20 and changing the version after in the json, it works too and you can benefit from v.20 features.

    • Hey, I'll try to take a look at this when I have a minute. Is this urgent?

(I think the original maintainer for this addon is no longer active, and I'll try and see how we can keep maintaining it past the last available version)

      • Thank you so much! It can actually wait until next week, but we're trying to finish this version of our game for the end of this year. And time is flying quite fast.

As for the maintainer, I think I found a way to contact him through Linkedin. If you envision any way to pursue, I can try to contact him.

If you manage to get a contact with them, I'd love to be able to talk with them and help update the addon, so we can keep a single page for this addon. I wanna avoid having to give new updates in the comments, or to make my own page.

          • Ok, I'll try to reach them. Hopefully it works.

I'll keep you posted either here or on the Discord.

            • Discord is better than comments, please update me there if possible lol

              • Hello everyone. Sorry for the late reply, and thank you for the comments and help.

I've been very busy with work this year and had totally forgotten about this plugin, to tell you the truth.

I fixed whatever issue i had installing the plugin, and upgraded to inkjs 2.0.

If you still have issues with the 'go to path' action, let me know. I'm gonna have a huge debug session this weekend, and see what problems i can fix.

Also planning on adding better support for variables. Currently list items throw errors :/

The easiest way to join me and get my attention towards this is through the github page (which Vcabana did a while back)
