So, this is less of a devlog, more of a blog about streams – it’s time for a progress report!

Things have been going so well on the channel since I started it. Outside of social media, it’s not really been publicised that much, so I’m really happy with the response so far.

The introduction of the points system has added an element of silly competition, and now that you can play little games with your points, I think it’s going to be even better! Another plan I have for the points is to allow you to redeem them if you want to be featured in the game I’m building. All of you lovely Twitch followers, my co-op coders, will all be mentioned in the credits, but if you want to have a little more presence, then this could be a way to do it!

There is now also a suggestions box on the channel where you can post feedback/ideas for the stream as well as Construct games you think I should be playing. I did finish Hypnospace Outlaw on Thursday, so I am in need of some new games to play. I think we'll be checking out Aline next week, but please do send in your Construct game suggestions!

And as a final note, I’m delighted to say we got Affiliate status on Twitch! You guys are amazing and thank you so much for helping to get the channel to this point. This means I can now set up reruns (so I can have days off!) And it also means that you’re going to start seeing options for cheers and subs.

While we’re happy for you to throw bits at us, we want you to know that Scirra won’t be taking any money from the Twitch channel – everything we get will go to charity! While I’m not 100% sure how we’ll do this yet, what will probably happen is that every couple of months, we’ll get you guys to vote for/nominate a gaming-related charity that we should donate to. So, you guys get a say in where your bits go! Why not use our fancy new suggestions box for charity nominations?

I’m going to keep the scoreboard panel for points only, but as I said previously, there are now ways to use your points. Check the commands panel on the Twitch channel for more details. Will you keep saving your points to claim the top of the scoreboard? Or will you risk your valuable points in a duel with another viewer?

And if you're not following our Twitch channel yet, you should! And if you turn on notifications, Twitch will tell you when we go live!

P.S. I'm almost done with my stupid NPCs! :D
