How’s it going folks? Hope you’re all staying safe out there!

It’s been a pretty good week for me. Managed to finish getting the dialogue systems in and sorted in my game and fixed some bits of the NPC code that I managed to break. So now, the game does things like this:

Aaaand this:

All of which I’m pretty happy about.

I am also making good progress on the JSON tutorial, but it’s taking longer to write than I thought it would. It’s a little tricky to figure out exactly what to include, what should be laid out step-by-step, which bits of the event sheets deserve snapshots etc. But it’s getting there. And so is my runner comparison ‘tutorial’. So, you’ve got that to look forward to at some point as well.

I was also kindly gifted a temp license for Xsplit Broadcaster a couple of days ago which comes with some cool stuff like a whiteboard overlay. This means when we do Construct streams, if something needs explaining, I can doodle all over what I’m trying to explain! I've still got some stuff to work out with the software but it looks cool! I think I’m progressing well with my working from home setup too, so it is possible that Construct streams could return soon.

Obviously, I’d need to think about content and schedule, but watch this space!

Have fun guys, hope you're keeping busy. Feel free to share what you're up to in this weird lockdown-y world!
