We're very excited to announce that Scirra Ltd has accepted angel investment! This means we've reached a deal with a private investor to help finance the running of Scirra in return for a share of the company.
What does this mean for you? Basically, we're going to keep working as hard as ever on regular updates for both Construct 2 and the site. The investment guarantees our financial security for the foreseeable future, during which we can be working full-time. No part-time jobs necessary on our part, and no reason not to keep steaming ahead as we've been doing. Just us working to make Construct 2 as good as possible for you!
We hope this helps eliminate any worry anyone had over where we were headed. We'd also like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your support since our launch. Many of you have had kind and encouraging words to offer - and buying the odd license of course! - and it is much appreciated by us here at Scirra.
