  • Sorry, I was just trying to be kind and mention the bug here. Not to be rude, but I don't have time to read through all those instructions and format a bug report exactly the way you want. Feels like you don't want to encourage users to report bugs, so I won't bother reporting bugs in comments anymore.

    • There is a place to report bugs in the forums. Then, the team can be aware of it and can be updated when it is reported. Idealy, here is not the place to report them, but it's better than not doing ANYTHING. :)

      • If you report bug anywhere on this website, including the forums, Ashley wants you to go to a third party website and go through a lot of trouble to report the bug, I'm guessing to make it easier for them. The burden is placed on the user. What's the point of enabling comments here anyway if not to comment on the release? Rhetorical question. It's his website, so I just won't report bugs here.

        • Strange, if that is true. I just went into the forums and reported the bug. In the next beta they said there was a fix for it. *shrug*

I just want to point out our official policy is to report bugs to our issue tracker following the guidelines, not posting to the forum, comments or anywhere else. The bug report guidelines do require identifying various details, but we require that because usually it's essential to be able to investigate at all. Very commonly issues omitting that information are unfortunately useless and impossible to investigate because they omit critical information, which is why we have a process set up around the issue tracker.
