Question on Pac Man tutorial

  • Hi folks. New to Construct 2. Did the Beginner's Tutorial yesterday, and I'm starting on the Pac Man tutorial today.

On page 2 of the tutorial, entering events, and after the simple keyboard events, it has a block of conditions within the same event: this keyboard event -or- this other one -or- this third, and so forth.

My question is: how do you do that? In the most recent stable version of construct (108.2 64 bit), I see that you can add many conditions to the same block (by right clicking or Events > Add Condition), but they don't have an "or" indicator -- which implies an "and" to me. Am I missing something?

Here's the image from the tutorial I'm talking about:

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

the option to make an "or-block" should be available via the right-click menu. Make sure you right click on the whitespace on the extreme left of the condition box:

  • Aha! You need to have more than one condition in an event block in order for the "Make 'Or' Block" choice to appear. Thank you, aruche!
