The object inherits the physics behavior from the family. So whatever behavior you set on the family the object will have.

Its basically the same as having the behavior on each individual object, you can just simplify a lot of your code with addressing families instead of having to do it to every individual object.

Well in principle i could, but the walls move around, so i would then have to keep track of where the walls are and where they are not. The line-of-sight thing is more flexible.

Thx for the try. for me that makes the shooter jump to the location of enemy one (when i run it at least) which is not what i wanted.

I actually solved it by using the line-of-sight behavior.

I made an object behind the wall and if the shooter has line of sight on that object it will not attack the enemies but go between them.

you could use the pin behavior to pin your player to the platform as long as he is not moving. when he starts moving unpin him.

The is an event called "Is between angels" which compares if the object is between two angles.

use the action "set angle toward position" on your gun and set it to x = point.x, y = point.y
