  • Hopefully this is fixed in the next build, thanks!

  • I don't think this counts as a bug, since it's by design that the Platform behavior stops you (sets vector X to 0) when it detects it has run in to a wall. Because you multiply vector X by -1, when it gets stopped and set to 0 it never gets going again.

    Just use two events:

Has wall to left - set vector X to 256

Has wall to right - set vector X to -256

This seems to work fine. Closing as won't fix.

  • Should be fixed in the next build!

  • Can't reproduce; Awesomium plays audio as expected when exporting the Space Blaster demo. Can you provide any more information about the problem, or share a .capx as described in how to report bugs?

  • For the time being Construct 2 requires you to have at least one instance of each object on a layout, like the first message says. We will eventually remove this limitation, but for now just create a dummy layout and drop a single instance of every object on to it.

  • Your .capx link is a 404. Please make sure the link works!

Note: I already think it's unlikely this can be fixed, because we don't have any code to do with joints beyond telling Box2D to create a joint, and the rest is handled by Box2D. So it may be a Box2D bug. Also, if you are using non-physics behaviors or moving physics objects with events, we can't support this case, because it conflicts with the Physics behavior and we always recommend you don't do that.

  • I'm not sure this counts as a bug: the Sine behavior uses the size of the object set in the layout which is positive 128. So it initialises like this:

    Create Arrow size 128x128

Initialise Sine behavior, width = 128

Start of layout: set width -128

After 1 second: activate Sine behavior using saved width of 128

I could change it so activating the Sine behavior uses the value at the time of activation, but I feel it's likely this could break existing projects that deactivate and reactivate to "pause" the behavior. So closing as won't fix for now - easy workaround is to set a negative width in the layout view instead of setting on start of layout. Let me know if there's anything else you think should be done about this.

  • xeed - does the Windows error log contain any information? Have you installed all Windows Updates?

  • I can't see enough evidence this is a Construct 2 bug and not just a mistake in your events. Please resubmit a minimal .capx made from scratch with no events or objects not directly related to the problem if you feel this is still a Construct 2 bug.

  • chrisbrobs - your example .capx uses third party plugins, please remove them when submitting bug report plugins as per how to report bugs.

Note we recently removed UPX compression on Awesomium's files, which makes the file size larger. It's nothing to worry about since assuming you distribute your exported game compressed, you will get similar file size savings.
