This flappy-style game was created by a student in the Game Development pathway at Del Mar High School as their first attempt at building a mobile app game. Inspired by classic endless runner mechanics, the game challenges players to guide a thief through a city environment while avoiding obstacles and danger.
Players must carefully navigate between buildings without crashing into walls, while also staying out of sight of police helicopters flying overhead. One wrong move—hitting a building or getting caught—and the game is over. The goal is to survive as long as possible and achieve the highest score.
This project highlights the student’s ability to apply programming concepts, game design principles, and creative problem-solving to build an interactive and engaging experience from start to finish.
