The “Gingerbread Man Anti-Tower Defense”™ is a game rarely found on the Internet. This game invites players to step into the delightful role of “the gingerbread man” from its beloved nursery rhyme. Your mission in this "Anti-Tower Defense" game? To skillfully dodge obstacles and evade capture as you sprint through several “forest and village mazes” filled with challenges and missile attacks. Get ready for an RPG adventure that combines whimsy with heart-pounding Tower Defense action! This “ANTI-TD version” adopts many innovations from other workshop games and some concepts from the “Building Role-Playing Browser Games” workshop.
This is one of five innovative Tower Defense (TD) templates from the "Building Tower Defense Games" workshop. Its student workbook guides attendees through the design process of encoding, testing, and debugging a "Minimum Viable Product" (MVP) for an Anti-Tower Defense game (this game!), complete with a FREE download of the "Ultimate TD" version 2.
The workshop's sequential lessons feature innovative examples of "Historical" and "Fantasy" TD battles, as well as this ANTI-Tower Defense game that can be played in single-player or multiplayer modes.
Gameplay:
This particular game mimics the popular nursery rhyme of the Gingerbread Man's adventures. After the first two encounters, players can choose their path "into the Woods". In multiplayer mode, participants race against each other to reach the final encounter with the highest score. Players can choose their final encounter with the fox or a new innovative story ending with the BAKER.
