computer infested malware. I've used this game hundreds of time in my college network security classes since 2008.

Background: You are a highly experienced Computer Security Specialist working for a sensitive Intelligence Agency. Several field offices are reporting computer malfunctions, and you've been assigned to discover quickly why!

Instructions

- Use your mouse or touch-screen.

- Explore around the motherboard.

- Find & "Click to Destroy" all the hidden malware.

  • So how did you grade students that played?

    • I had the student take a screen snap-shot. Playing the game would add 10 points on their chapter exam. Another semester I used this game as extra credit with a bell curve time scale: really fast time earned at "A", slowest times earned a "C". No sense in penalizing a student for attempting extra credit work ... Right?

  • I really like This game because it is hard! Has anyone ever won? I also see that the malware changes with each new game. Clever!!

    • Yes, almost all have won in the classroom. The student would compete for best times. This is the second edition transpile from the original Flash version.
