  Unfortunately the filenames of the resources are not included in the the exported exe. The Ide exporter and Runtime would have to be modified to include a list of the filenames, which doesn't look to easy to do. I looked into it when I was making the resource plugin.

  Could you change the function you use to take the name of the resource as a parameter instead of the resource name? Then use a sub-event for each resource. That way you wouldn't have to worry about removing resources causing indexes to change.

  Transparency is not defined as a specific color and can vary though the image. However, magenta rgb(255, 0, 255) is treated as 100% transparent in construct's image editor and with the ImageManipulator plugin.

  The only thing that needs to be changed when compiling the IDE to be current is change the CONSTRUCT_VERSION_ID define in IDE\stdafx.h to 10102.

  Your example works if i pick 2 matching 'CARDS'.

  But if i select a card, then select one that isn't a match to the first one, everything resets and previously matched cards are wiped out?

  I misunderstood step 4 in your first post.

  Here's one way to do it using the canvas object and pasting one letter at a time. In between letters the text object is moved by the actual width of the letter + any additional spacing wanted.

  You can do it with global variables to transfer the coordinates.

  ex:

  LayoutMouseX = MouseX - Layout.Left

  LayoutMouseY = MouseY - Layout.Top

  Then just use those global variables for mouse coordinates in the Layout in the Layout object.

  Keep in mind that you'll have to event accordingly. For instance you will no be able to use "on object clicked". Instead you'll have to use "on click" and "object overlaps point".

  The plugin already has the ability to set the volume for everything with one action.

  You can use the System expression "timer.  "timer" gives the number of milliseconds that have passed since the game started.

  Save the start time in a variable and then you can find the number of milliseconds elapsed with:

  timer - start_time

  You're almost there.

  Given:

  s distance

  t time

  v final velocity=0

  Find:

  u initial velocity

  a acceleration

  (1)

  v=a*t + u

  solve for u

  => u= 0-a*t or u=-a*t

  (2)

  s = 1/2 * a * t^2 + u * t

  substitute u with -a*t and solve for a:

  a=-2*s/t^2

  and you also get u by plugging a into equation 1

  u=2*s/t
