You should switch to Unity(C# or Javascript as language), the switch from construct to unity is much easier than to Plain-Java.

I have done the same thing, 2d, browsergames and presentations I create wih C2 and 3d games, small movies I make in Unity.

Meh , unity is so slow , I better stick with java

One of my best friends is a phenomenal programmer and he uses Java almost exclusively. Personally, I don't need to move beyond scripting, so I'm learning the very-different-yet-similarly-named JavaScript to use with Unity.

RandomExile , it's just about getting the hang of it ,Java is a very flexible language , learning the basics is the hard part , after that , the difficulty curve gets smaller and you learn a lot

Well good journies. I hope you enjoy Java. I have used Java for years. I love Java programming language and it's still me favourite.

However, after having used it. I find that having far more tools that I get with C2 to be far more useful that just a language.

I'll always be using C2 , maybe for quick small projects , and mobile platform games , and maybe later on , I'll learn C++ and javascript

But for now , I'll learn Java ,

UPDATE : I GOT THE BASICS DOWN , NOW , LEARNING HOW TO MAKE A FRAME AND DRAW SPRITES AND I'LL BE READY TO MAKE GAMES :D
