How many people are active in the forums?

I think most people are waiting for construct to mature. It got panned by a lot of people during the first testing which i thought was unfair.

Once it reaches version 1 and the word get out i'm sure more will come.

I'm soure this forum will be packed once Construct v1.0 is out!

Eh.. in case you'r wondering, I'm the same as A_t_t_a_n (Surprise! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /> ). This is my original account, but i used the other one once this was broken. (It's working just fine now Ashley!)

It still has it's detractors. There's a bit of drama still going on over at TDC. And if I'm not mistaken, LIJI is pretty much making it his personal mission to crap on Scirra at every opportunity.

But I agree that there will likely be a spike in users once Construct is out of beta. A lot of people at TDC seem to be adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Though with .86 fixing a lot of the nastier bugs, maybe folks will start rolling in sooner.

Of course, the very most of people simply don't rely on unfinished products. Reasonably.

1.0 and a good documentation (expecially for beginners) will definitely boost the product to the very big public.

True. Being older than your average klik user I tend to forget that I'm dealing mainly with 14yo kids when I post on the forums.

Which makes me realize what having a smaller user base means: Fewer morons <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" />

I didn't say that <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />. Althought it's 2007, there are still talented kids or even adult people new to the internet community stuff. Not everyone are born with knowlegde 'how to behave in internet community', even we.

IMO it is more important for community to have as much talented game makers as possible than to have as little morons as possible.
