  • Hi, I'm new around here. Although I've know Dave H for ages (good to see his art on the forum). I'm working on some games using Construct (with Dave) but it's too early to show anything yet.

    your art have a mix of pixels and photo, this is unusual and i like it very much

    some advices; try to break the pose "hardness", this will make the character feel more fluid(make the pose with a silluete so you have an idea of the flow).

    but if you(like me) is attach to this kind of "game character pose" approach, you can set minor differences between elements to create interest spots, just like you did with the character face wich is very good.

    hands and feet have their respective anatomy, but i think you should work towards your style and the way you represent this elements.

    I?m really grateful for the advice and will use it? I feel I need to find a flow with the pose/ anatomy ..

    Rather than thinking.. Ooo no how do I tackle this now? .. I feel my awkwardness is portrayed in the character's pose..

    I like the idea of the interest spots..

  • Great thread here! I started playing with art as needed for a brewery themed game I began a few months back. Much like programming, it has its moments....Here's the progress so far:

    I like the wheat too; its kinda giving me ideas for corn..
