  • i think this theme was a good choice, just stick with it; it'll only be a matter of time before everyone feels at home anyways

  • Hmm... I looked for a different style, this is the closest to the old design:

    http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/Czar-Orange

But they don't have it in green for phpbb3... thoughts?

Or you could have a browse through there and see if you can find a style you like!

I like that Orange Theme, doesnt this forum have like Custom Themes that anyone can have different?

    I like this one too.

  • My offer still stands to tweak Czar Orange back to Czar Green though.

I think that sounds great! And when you do, be soure to take away the plain white background! Do you have somewhere we can look at the old forum Ashley? I don't really remember exactly how it looked.

    It looked like this:

    http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/index.php?style=279

    Only, you know... green.

  • was the background really white?

Edit: Ashley, this one might be good for a futuristic look! Immagine scirra's logo in the corner there! http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/Prototype?phpbb=3.0.1

It's clear and nice to look at too, and i really like the symbols for sticky, announcement etc.

  • I prefer this theme, but I think the forum can handle different themes and then users select the one they want.

The problem is each theme needs a title logo for it, which I don't have nearly enough time to do. If you want a theme, and you can design the top logo, then post here and i'll upload it.

  • Yay, PHPBB3! I'm pretty experienced with it, so, if you need a moderator...

ewww, i actually think this one looks too busy and has too much going on in the top banner image thingie =P

  • I actually love this one, if it is changed, could you please leave it in as an option? This is great.

    Now that's a plan

Is it limited to the 3.0.1 themes or can we do 3.0.0? I don't really know anything about pbpBB.

Also, if anyone wants to make a gear logo from scratch, here's a blank .psd template:

  • 3.0.1 to be on the safe side, but I don't know for sure.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I think you should just install a few different themes. I don't mind if this were the default theme, but I'd prefer to use a different theme.

What I really don't like about this theme are the icons next to each thread. Some of the icons, I have no idea what they mean, and some of them are flashing It's confusing.

  • 3.0.1 to be on the safe side, but I don't know for sure.

Ah, that's too bad. The pickings for 3.0.1 are slim. Well, I'll see what I can come up with.

    Edit:

Actually, I just realized that the current style (Saphic) is 3.0.0 only, so it should be all right to use 3.0.0 themes, yeah?

  • I guess so, then
